Here are our baby chicks, several weeks ago. They're Cornish-Crosses, bred to grow quickly and to gain weight: ideal for butchering chickens. They're pasture poltury chickens which means they are moved around on grass so that they have a healthier environment and don't sit in one place for their entire life. This produces a happier chicken, and a happier consumer. In other words, this is the real organic chicken. Stuff you get at grocery stores isn't truly organic, even if it bears the label.
