In an attempt to beat the heat, we began our day at 6 in the morning.
It reached 111 degrees...and we quit at 2 pm.
You would have thought we'd leave the heat when we left Texas.

the back of the house.

Josh and Cliff doing what they do best—
standing around.
The front....

Nailing down the plywood.

Cutting an angled peice of wood.

How come everyone's watching me work?!

Caleb carries the newly cut piece.

Up it comes to be nailed down.

Cliff and Dad back off as Josh tries going wild with the board.

Putting down the tyvek-film.
It has a supposed 6-month enduarnce without shingles.
Unfortunately, the shingles were delievered at 9 am tommorrow.
No chance for an experiment.

Putting up the insulation board...or pretending too.

The back's done. We hit the front plywood in the morning.
I'm trying to upload the pictures every other day
